Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a REAL treat! You will leave feeling as if you were on a mini-holiday!

Restorative yoga uses various props to allow you to stay in poses for a long time, without any discomfort, stress, strain, injury risk and pain. Soft music is played, and Ann spoils everyone with a hand, back and/or foot massage.

The long-held poses have the time to reach nerves and organs, including respiratory, circulatory and nervous systems. It is not the only form of yoga that allows to relieve anxiety, but its’ results are faster compared to other practices. Restorative yoga is a wonderful practice when you are physically, emotionally or mentally exhausted but is certainly not limited to this. Many yogi’s claim it is the perfect addition to their active physical yoga practice.

Restorative yoga is rapidly gaining popularity nowadays where there is so much sickness, hatred and fear in our world. Through restorative yoga we allow our fears to transform into compassion, our stresses to transform into calmness, and our immunity is strengthened. We are able to face the world with hope and love. Student report days of increased calm after a restorative session.
